Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

August 30, 2012

Lars:

It has been an interesting last week in the month of August when it comes to criminal aliens here in the State of Oregon.

Tuesday, August 28th, the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro, Oregon had 77 criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 13.46% of the jail population the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Seven of the 77 criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the Washington County Jail were involved in some type of drug crime, 9.09% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine).

Twenty-two (28.57%) of the 77 criminal aliens at the Washington County Jail are in the jail for some type of driving violation or crime; five of the aliens are in jail for violating their probation related to previous driving violations or crimes.

Wednesday, August 29th, the Yamhill County Jail in McMinnville, Oregon had nine criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 4.81% of the jail population the U.S. DHS–ICE agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. One of the nine criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at Yamhill County Jail was involved in some type of drug crime, 11.11% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine).

Three (33.33%) of the nine criminal aliens at the Yamhill County Jail are in the jail for some type of driving violation or crime.

A troubling reminder Lars to you and your radio listeners, the Obama administration which directs U.S. DHS–ICE is very unlikely to remove from the country illegal aliens unless they have committed three serious misdemeanors, case in point, aliens driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Non removal of illegal aliens by U.S. DHS–ICE for repeated driving crimes has been a disastrous mistake by the Obama administration and should be a reminder to Americans that President Obama doesn’t care about the safety of pedestrians and drivers across our country.

Here in Oregon, Governor John Kitzhaber continues to work behind closed doors in secret meetings to introduce legislation during the 2013 Oregon State Legislature session that would allow the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue Oregon Drivers Licenses to illegal aliens.

For the public safety of all Oregonians, Governor Kitzhaber should terminate his plan to issue ODL’s to illegal aliens in the state.

Lars, the last week of August and another criminal alien report for Lars Larson show KXL 101.1 radio listeners.
