Clackamas County Jail with ICE Holds (5/07/12): 17

Jackson County Jail with ICE Holds (5/08/12): 7

Lincoln County Jail with ICE Holds (5/09/12): 5

Linn County Jail with ICE Holds (5/09/12): 7

Marion County Correctional Facility with ICE Holds (5/14/12): 42

NORCOR (1) with ICE Holds (5/15/12): 2

Polk County Jail with ICE Holds (5/16/12): 4

Umatilla County Jail (2) with ICE Holds (5/18/12): 4

Washington County Jail with ICE Holds (5/23/12): 70

Yamhill County Jail with ICE Holds (5/24/12): 8

Total ICE Holds: 166

As a group, for the five months of 2012, the preceding 10 county correctional facilities and jails incarcerated an average of 161.80 criminal aliens per day with U.S. DHS–ICE Holds.

Because of Governor Kitzhaber wanting to give Oregon Drivers Licenses to illegal aliens and the Governor directing the Oregon State Police accept Mexican Matricula Consular Cards as identification at tariff stops, I evaluated how many of the 166 criminal aliens were charged with some type of driving crime or violation.

Of the 166 criminal aliens incarcerated in the preceding correctional facilities and jails, 39 (23.49 percent) of the criminal aliens were charged with some type of driving crime or violation.

Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

May 17, 2012

Lars:

It has been an interesting third full week in the month of May when it comes to criminal aliens here in the State of Oregon.

Monday, May 14th, the Marion County Correctional Facility (MCCF) in Salem, Oregon had 42 criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 10.17% of the jail population the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Eight of the 42 criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the MCCF were involved in some type of drug crime, 19.05% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine).

This week we have a criminal alien of the week report for your radio listeners.

Monday, May 14th in a United States District Court in Medford, Oregon, Omar Cuevas-Vasquez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was sentenced to 188 months in federal prison for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it and for reentering the country illegally.

Cuevas-Vasquez at the time of his arrest on February 2, 2011 was found to be in possession of four and half pounds of methamphetamine.

A troubling fact about the Mexican national drug trafficker, in 2000 a U.S. District Court in Eastern Washington convicted Cuevas-Vasquez for drug trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine and sentenced him to 24 months in federal prison. After complete his prison sentence, Cuevas-Vasquez was deported to the country of his origin.

A short time later, Cuevas-Vasquez reentered the country illegally to continue his drug trafficking in even larger quantities of methamphetamine.

Unfortunately the invasion of criminal aliens, like Omar Cuevas-Vasquez, continues because of the weak to non-existent leadership our country has at a national level.

Lars, the third week of May and two different criminal alien reports for Lars Larson Show KXL 101.1 radio listeners.
