Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report
June 2, 2016
It has been an interesting first week in the month of June when it comes to criminal aliens here in the Pacific Northwest part of the United States of America.
This week we put another face to alien crime for your radio listeners — criminal aliens who transport illicit drugs — let us call them drug mules.
On Friday, April 1, 2016 the Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers pulled over a Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV driven by Sara Rosales-Lopez [SID: 21671594], age 37, in which her husband Oscar Omar Aguilar-Gomez [SID: 21671586], age 30, was a passenger. The reason the OSP troopers stopped the vehicle was for excessive speed and following to close to other vehicles.
Once the Chevrolet Trailblazer the couple occupied was stopped, the OSP troopers approached the SUV and notice an excessive number of air fresheners in the vehicle.
During the traffic stop, when questioned by OSP troopers on the ownership of SUV, the couple was unsure who owned the vehicle. The OSP troopers then apparently made a request to search the SUV; the couple consented to the search of the vehicle.
During the search of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, the OSP troopers discovered 37 packages (27.5 pounds) of methamphetamine.
The couple was then arrested by the OSP troopers and taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford, Oregon, where each was held on one million dollars bail. They were both charged with felony manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine.
Spring ahead in time, Friday, May 27, 2016 Oscar Omar Aguilar-Gomez pled no contest in a Jackson County Circuit Court to felony delivery of methamphetamine. Judge Tim Barnack sentenced Aguilar-Gomez to 34 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections prison system.
Earlier in the year, on April 25th, Sara Rosales-Lopez pled guilty to felony delivery of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to two years probation.
According to other media sources and county jail records, Oscar Omar Aguilar-Gomez and Sara Rosales-Lopez are both illegal aliens. They will be turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after completing their court ordered sentences. Both of them, in the not too distant future, face deportation from this country.
Lars, the first week of June and another criminal alien report for Lars Larson Show FM 101.1 radio listeners.
