Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

July 30, 2015

Lars:

It has been an interesting last week in the month of July when it comes to criminal aliens here in the Pacific Northwest part of the United States of America.

This week we put another face to alien crime for your radio listeners — criminal aliens who are committing burglaries.

Thursday, July 23, 2015 Beaverton Police officers responded to a call, after help from SWAT, they arrested Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech (SID#: 12067381) on a first degree burglary charge.

An interesting fact, Peraza-Domenech was still on Community Supervision in Washington County at the time of his arrest.

Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech is currently incarcerated at the Washington County Jail. No immigration detainer has been placed on him because Sheriff Pat Garrett no longer honors Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers since a federal magistrate judge in Oregon determined in 2014 that ICE detainers were not legally binding.

Back to Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech’s criminal history in Washington County before the ICE detainer policy change by Sheriff Garrett:

In 2013 Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech (SID#: 12067381) was arrested on September 12th and incarcerated at the jail where he was charged with driving while suspended-revoked and possession of methamphetamine. Federal immigration officials paced an ICE detainer on him at that time.

In 2012 Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech (SID#: 12067381) was arrested on June 22nd and incarcerated at the jail where he was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle. Federal immigration officials paced an ICE detainer on him at that time.

In 2011 Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech (SID#: 12067381) was arrested on March 28th and incarcerated at the jail where he was charged a probation violation. Federal immigration officials paced an ICE detainer on him at that time.

The Oregonian newspaper reported in 2007 that Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech was arrested on September 12th by the Hillsboro Police Department for burglary and theft charges.

A troubling fact, after four arrests, I can find no information that at this point in time ICE officials have attempted to remove career criminal Wilfredo Peraza-Domenech from the United States.

Some fast facts:

On January 1, 2015 the Oregon Department of Corrections prison system incarcerated 1,040 criminal aliens (prisoners with immigration detainers); 38 of those alien prisoners (3.65 percent) were serving time for property crimes (19 burglaries, 15 thefts and 4 auto thefts).

Lars, the last week of July and another criminal alien report for Lars Larson Show FM 101.1 radio listeners.
