Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report
April 3, 2014
It has been an interesting first week in the month of April when it comes to criminal aliens here in the State of Oregon.
This week we put another face to alien crime in the state for your radio listeners.
Saturday, March 29, 2014 Beaverton Police Detectives arrested Raul Gonzalez-Rodriguez, age 26, and an accomplice for using counterfeit credit cards.
Gonzalez-Rodriguez and his accomplice were found to be in possession of more than 100 counterfeit credit cards and other documents containing credit card numbers and the available credit on each card.
After the police arrested Gonzalez-Rodriguez and his accomplice, they were transported to the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro, Oregon where they were each charged with Aggravated Identity Theft.
Some more details, apparently Gonzalez-Rodriguez has an extraditable warrant out of Idaho for the same type of criminal activity.
Since Raul Gonzalez Rodriguez (SID #: 0595088) has been incarcerated at the Washington County Jail, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents monitoring jail intakes placed an immigration detainer on him (See link).
Some fast facts:
– On March 1, 2014 the Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) prison system incarcerated 1,147 criminal aliens (prisoners with immigration detainers); 15 of those alien prisoners (1.31 percent) were serving time for forgery and theft;
– Washington County Circuit Courts have sent 4 of the 15 criminal aliens (26.67 percent of the aliens) currently serving time in the DOC prison system for forgery and theft.
