In January 2014, county correctional facilities and jails in Clackamas, Jackson, Linn, Lincoln, Marion, NORCOR, Polk, Umatilla, Washington, and Yamhill counties incarcerated 113 criminal aliens for various crimes that had United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), placed on them by U.S.DHS–ICE agents.

1. Clackamas County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/08/14): 10

Of the 434 inmates that can be incarcerated at the Clackamas County Jail, the 10 criminal aliens took up approximately 2.30% of the jails capacity to house inmates.

2. Jackson County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/08/14): 12

Of the 230 inmates that can be incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail, the 12 criminal aliens took up approximately 5.22% of the jails capacity to house inmates.

3. Lincoln County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/08/14): 4

Of the 160 inmates incarcerated at the Lincoln County Jail, the four criminal aliens made up approximately 2.50% of the jail population.

For the twelve months of 2013, the Lincoln County Jail has averaged 3.83 criminal aliens per day at the jail.

4. Linn County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/09/14): 3

Of the 174 inmates incarcerated at Linn County Corrections, the three criminal aliens made up approximately 1.72% of the jail population.

5. Marion County Correctional Facility prisoners with ICE Holds (1/09/14): 30

Of the 414 inmates incarcerated at MCCF, the 30 criminal aliens made up approximately 7.25% of the jail population.

6. NORCOR (1)  prisoners with ICE Holds (1/15/14): 3

Of the 104 inmates incarcerated at NORCOR, the three criminal aliens made up 2.88% of the jail population.

7. Polk County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/15/14): 2

Of the 102 inmates incarcerated at the Polk County Jail, the two criminal aliens made up 1.96% of the jail population.

8. Umatilla County Jail (2)  prisoners with ICE Holds (1/17/14): 8

Of the 156 inmates incarcerated at the Umatilla County Jail, the eight criminal aliens made up 5.13% of the jail population.

9. Washington County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/20/14): 39

Of the approximately 572 inmates incarcerated at the Washington County Jail on a daily basis, the 39 criminal aliens made up approximately 6.82% of the jail population.

10. Yamhill County Jail prisoners with ICE Holds (1/21/14): 2

Of the 165 inmates incarcerated at the Yamhill County Jail, the two criminal aliens made up 1.21% of the jail population.

Total ICE Holds: 113

(1)  NORCOR, an acronym for Northern Oregon Regional Correction Facilities, incarcerates prisoners for Hood River, Wasco, Sherman, and Gilliam counties.

(2)  Umatilla County Jail incarcerates prisoners for Umatilla and Morrow counties and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
