Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report
December 15, 2011
It has been an interesting second full week in the month of December when it comes to criminal aliens here in the State of Oregon.
Tuesday, December 13th, the Marion County Correctional Facility (MCCF) in Salem, Oregon had 39 criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 9.85% of the jail population the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Nine of the 39 criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the MCCF were involved in some type of drug crime, 23.08% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine).
Wednesday, December 14th, Northern Oregon Regional Corrections (NORCOR) in The Dalles, Oregon had five criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 6.76% of the jail population the U.S. DHS–ICE agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Three of the five criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the NORCOR were involved in some type of drug crime, 60.00% of the alien jail population (marijuana).
This week we have a criminal alien of the week to report to your radio listeners.
Monday, December 12th, the Hillsboro Police officers arrested Magdaleno Vasquez-Cruz and charged him with four counts of first-degree sex abuse.
Because Vasquez-Cruz’s alleged female victim was seven-years old at the time the reported abuse, if convicted, he is very likely to face a Jessica’s Law of Oregon sanction which translates into a 25 year prison term.
Currently, Magdaleno Vasquez-Cruz is incarcerated at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro, the jail’s website indicates him being held on one count of first degree sodomy along with a U.S. DHS–ICE hold.
