It has been an interesting second full week in the month of November when it comes to criminal aliens here in the State of Oregon.

Tuesday, November 8th, the Clackamas County Jail in Oregon City, Oregon had 20 criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 4.61% of the jail population the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Four of the 20 criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the Clackamas County Jail were involved in some type of drug crime, 20.00% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine).

Wednesday, November 9th, the Jackson County Jail in Medford, Oregon had 11 criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail, 4.78% of the jail population U.S. DHS–ICE agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. Six of the 11 criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the Jackson County Jail were involved in some type of drug crime, 54.54% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana).

Wednesday, November 9th, the Linn County Jail in Albany, Oregon had seven criminal aliens incarcerated at the jail that U.S. DHS–ICE agents had identified as possibly being in the county illegally. One of the seven criminal aliens with U.S. DHS–ICE holds at the Linn County Jail was involved in some type of drug crime, 14.28% of the alien jail population (methamphetamine).

Saturday, November 5th, the Keizer Police Department (KPD) officers arrested Gerardo Chavarria Pinzon and charged him with Manslaughter I and Assault I in connection with the death of his four-year old stepchild Sebastian Iturbe.

Chavarria Pinzon is alleged to have purposely pushed the four year old boy down fifteen stairs fatally injuring the child who later died of severe head injuries at Oregon Health & Science University.

Gerardo Chavarria Pinzon is currently incarcerated at the Marion County Correctional Facility (MCCF) in Salem, where on top of the previous charges again him, U.S. DHS–ICE agents have placed an ICE hold on him.
